Sometimes what you have works, you just don't know it. Here is an example where we kept the completely reworked the existing house, gutting it in order to transform the orientation of its living space whilst creating a new loft storey with both side and rear extensions.  The main feature is the entrance hall which we opened up around a new stairwell to achieve a gallery view throughout all floors from the main entrance.
