Napket Snobfood

The Napket Snobfood coffee shops (London) were designed as a reinvention of the urban cafe, showcasing a collision of vintage-style and industrial-chic, featuring Murano chandeliers hanging edgily off galvanised steel cable trays, gold-framed mirrors, and repro Rembrandts on bare brick and concrete, with baroque seating and Philippe Starck stools around communal iPod tables. There is dark wood panelling and blown-up photos, red-shaded wall lights on gold brackets as in a provincial theatre, and even the toilet paper is printed with gold fleur-de-lys.
