Napket Snobfood
The Napket Snobfood coffee shops (London) were designed as a reinvention of the urban cafe, showcasing a collision of vintage-style and industrial-chic, featuring Murano chandeliers hanging edgily off galvanised steel cable trays, gold-framed mirrors, and repro Rembrandts on bare brick and concrete, with baroque seating and Philippe Starck stools around communal iPod tables. There is dark wood panelling and blown-up photos, red-shaded wall lights on gold brackets as in a provincial theatre, and even the toilet paper is printed with gold fleur-de-lys.
"Designed to have an individual rather than uniform atmosphere and the attention to detail is meticulous. From the gloss black walls, Phillippe Starck chairs, and velvet couches to the vintage chandeliers and contemporary photography; Napket is stunning to look at... For breakfast, lunch, or a quick coffee, there probably isn't anywhere more chic to be seen in London."
Urban Life Magazine
"The store is more akin to a fashion boutique than a cafe thanks to its vintage-style, industrial-chic decor. Elaborate chandeliers complement the baroque seating and exposed brick walls... Napket Piccadilly is already getting quite a following from the fashion world."
Event Magazine
"For the most fashionable sandwich in W1, head to Napket Piccadilly, the boutique cafe modelled (pardon the pun) on a fashion store... what really appealed to our inner fashionista was the uploaded iPods docked at tables so you can listen to the latest sounds from the catwalk."
